In the field of China’s radio,digital communication to replace analog communications is the trend of the times.Ministry of public security to PDT standards set for the industry recommended standards,and strive to make the PDT standard as a national standard.The purpose of this thesis is to design digital communication protocol stack software based on PDT standard,so that the equipment can meet the communication needs of the daily work of public security users and urgent tasks.First of all,this thesis analyzes the development and current situation of the domestic and foreign radio technology,and summarizes the background and significance of the PDT technology.Through reading and in-depth study of standard documents,master PDT protocol.Familiar with the PDT normal mode of voice business,the use of MSC diagram to describe the signaling process,deepen their understanding of.According to business needs,to confirm the development environment,the use of ARM plus DSP dual core architecture.Based on the protocol stack design idea,the PDT protocol stack is designed as a multi-layer structure,including application software layer,call control layer and data link layer.The system is divided into several functional modules according to the function,and it provides the interface between the modules and the call relationship.Use state machine to describe the state change of the voice business.Use the C language to write specific code.After the completion of all the code to write the work,set up the test environment on the protocol stack software protocol conformance testing.Through testing and verifying the protocol stack software,the voice group call service and voice calling service of the conventional mode of PDT are realized,which meets the requirements of PDT standard.
