| Location-based services are one of the basic services of the mobile Internet, with the rapid development of wireless communications technology , wireless location technology has become a hot research topic. Because GPS technology and cellular network assisted positioning has the reason that the existence of power consumption and the indoor complex environment positioning accuracy is not high, Wi-Fi-based indoor positioning technology research has important practical significance. Wi-Fi technology has the advantage of a large coverage area, information dissemination speed,low cost, etc.,while Android mobile terminal itself has Wi-Fi connectivity conducive to Wi-Fi-based positioning system. This paper describes some of the methods being studied or positioning applications already on the market, and discussed their deficiencies in the field of location-based services; localization algorithm uses location-based fingerprinting methods; designed the overall architecture of the system; programmed the functional positioning system with Java language; designed and implemented Wi-Fi indoor positioning system platform based on Android; Positioning algorithm and system design has been tested with Wi-Fi sites built indoor environment, the positioning error is about 2.5 meters. System also calls outdoor positioning API to achieve the map display, so the positioning system is more comprehensive and practical. |
