With the development of information technology in modern warfare,radar play an increasingly irreplaceable role in modern war,its function receives information equivalent to human eyes.In the process the transponder information,cosecant squared beam played a key role.Cosecant squared beam of antenna with a high gain low elevation and high elevation features and has a low gain high gain and resolution profits and strong features.When the same height,a different slant distance target detection,can receive equal intensity of the echo signal,the distance of the target object to early detection,but also capable of receiving high-intensity short-range target echo objects.So cosecant squared beam has an extremely important value in aircraft navigation radar systems.This paper proposes an improved genetic algorithm,using the algorithm array antenna beam-forming,optimization design cosecant squared beam expansion on the basis of adaptive genetic algorithm above.Genetic Algorithm(Genetic Algorithm,abbreviated GA)is a natural selection and random search algorithm as a model.Since the 1960s,and later professor of Holland America's proposed genetic algorithm not only in the theoretical study has been rapid development,but also in the practical application of genetic algorithm in the face of complex problem solving show also attracted more pay more attention to scientific researchers.Although genetic algorithms have made considerable progress,but in the actual application process,the genetic algorithm will have some of their own problems,such as:into local convergence and precocity and other issues.In order to solve the problem and improve the performance of the genetic algorithm,it is widely used,researchers for basic genetic algorithm to make a lot of optimization,to a certain extent,also achieved good results.Wherein the adaptive genetic algorithm(Adaptive Genetic Algorithm,called AGA)is also on the lack of basic genetic algorithm proposed an improvement.The main work of this paper has the following aspects:1.The basic genetic algorithm research operator,the algorithm processes theory.And the characteristics and the basic genetic algorithms and make use of the relevant inquiry.2.Based on the basic genetic algorithm was improved strategies,and adaptive genetic algorithm and niche genetic algorithm applicability array antenna beam-forming is studied.Propose improved adaptive genetic algorithm,using logistic function fitting crossover and mutation probability,the roulette selection and elite selection combines the global find the optimal solution.And this algorithm and other optimization algorithms in the array antenna imprinting effect do performance comparison.3.Using micro-strip antenna simulation works to design a X band micro-strip patch antenna,and thus as a unit composed of an array antennas.Array antenna beam theory and considering coupling effect between arrays,using improved adaptive genetic algorithm extension beam cosecant squared design.The incentive to optimize the results back to the generation of finite element electromagnetic simulation software to build and validate the model algorithm correctness and superiority.4.A processing test has expanded beam cosecant squared pattern of the micro-strip dipole array antenna.To reduce the power divider engineering difficulty,the optimization process will be an array antenna beam excitation amplitude maintained by Taylor distribution,only the optimization phase excitation.
