With the fast growth of mobile data traffic and improving demand for capacity,the traditional macro cellular mobile communication system is facing up with great challenges and unable to meet the needs of people.All of the things makes it develop,and then the cellular heterogeneous networks is introduced,in which the low power wireless nodes namely Small Cells are deployed to the traditional cellular networks.It has great advantages on the enhancement of the performance of network coverage and capacity and gets high signal-to-noise ratio.Moreover,it benefits the decrease of energy consumption greatly.However,with the introduction of Small Cell,the number of parameters in heterogeneous network increases,which makes the communication network more complicated.Therefore,to introduce the self-organization technology into the heterogeneous network is significantly important,which can reduce the operation cost and increase the operation efficiency.As a key technology of SON,the self-healing technology solves the problems of fault detection and self-repair,when there is network fault.It can find and diagnose the network fault with fast speed and high accuracy through the analysis of network data,and then trig the compensation mechanism to reach network self-healing and ensure that the users enjoy continuous,high quality of communication services.In this paper,it introduces the self-healing technology in the heterogeneous network,respectively from the Small Cell outage detection and compensation.As following,they are illustrated detailedly.The first innovative is to introduce a Small Cell outage detection mechanism based on Bayes criterion in the heterogeneous,which is divided into the trigger process and detecting process.In the trigger process,collect the RSRP between user and base station,and determine whether an abnormal occurs according to the spatial-temporal correlation of the RSRP.If there is an abnormal,report the information of abnormal Small Cell and trig the detection process,in which use the Bayes criterion detect and position the abnormal Small Cell.The heterogeneous network is the scene we study,so the detection mechanism is mainly for the dense Small Cell.It is proved that the proposed detection algorithm has better performance on decreasing detection delay,achieving rapid detection,and assure high accuracy at a certain extent by MATLAB simulation.The second innovation is a cooperative Macrocell and Small Cell outage compensation mechanism.When the Small Cell outage occurs,judge whether there are Small Cell that can be used for compensation firstly.If not,handover the users to the macro base station directly for compensation.If there are,trig the compensation mechanism based on Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to get the scheme how to adjust Small Cell reference signal transmitted power to expand the coverage and realize the compensation.Through the MATLAB simulation,the result shows that the compensation mechanism can not only ensure the basic communications services to the users,but also reduce the macro cell load and system energy consumption.
