Power SDH network is a special communication network. It is established based on the SDH technology and carries services of the internal access network, data scheduling network, integrated data network and so on. At present, there are relatively few research achievements on the reliability of power SDH network. Lacking of technical research on network prior warning and analysis,can not pre analyze risks in network,which lead to poor ability of network active operation, and the reliability of the network is difficult to be guaranteed. Therefore, focusing on the prior warning method of power SDH network. This paper designs and implements the risk prior warning and analysis module, it can improve the forecast ability of network risk to guarantee the reliable operation of the network.This paper firstly analyzes the demand of network for risk prior warning from the aspect of network reliability and security. Then, it studies the method of risk prior-warning evaluation, which includes establishing risk prior-warning index system and designing assessment method that based on BP neural network. Finally, the paper designs and realizes risk prior-warning and analysis module for power SDH network,which can evaluate and predict risk of SDH network effectively. The main contents of this paper are as follows.1. A risk prior-warning evaluation method based on BP neural network is proposed in this paper, which includes establishing a multi-level-multi-angle risk prior-warning analysis index system and designing a method of risk evaluation based on BP neural network. The simulation results show that the proposed assessment method can properly analyze the risk in the network, and give the corresponding prior warning, which can achieve better evaluation effect under different load.2. Based on the method of risk prior-warning assessment that based on BP neural network, this paper designs and implements the module of risk prior-warning analysis for power SDH network. The module can analyze the risk existing in the power SDH network in advance, it can also map the risk assessment values to the corresponding risk levels according to the risk prior-warning model, as well as give prior warning.By implementing this module to network management system, this module can facilitate the operation and maintenance personnel from passive fault handling to active risk prevention, thus reducing the occurrence of failures to ensure the reliable operation of power SDH network. Finally, the application of the module to the present network operation of an electric company proves the effectiveness of this module.
