With the development of computer technology,network transmission,telecommunication technology as well as multimedia technology,the application of multimedia information,such as multimedia conference,video surveillance,vehicular communication and disaster relief scene,has been paid more and more attention.In this paper,we design a mechanism of multimedia information distribution based on TDMA data train.TDMA is short for Time Division Multiple Access,it divides time into periodic frame.Then each frame is divided into a number of slots,and the relationship between the time slot and the user is established.Allocation algorithms of time slots has been widely studied and applied.Based on that,we design a data distribution mechanism which is suitable for multimedia information on TDMA data chain.According to the type of information to be transmitted,we divided the whole time slots of a frame into different types.By the method of time division multiple access,a certain number of time slots of a type are allocated to each user to provide a minimum transmission quality guarantee.Firstly,the TDMA data link is briefly introduced,including the method of channel resource allocation.Then,according to the characteristics of multimedia data transmission,the multimedia data distribution mechanism of TDMA data link is designed,which can guarantee the lowest transmission quality,improve network utilization and payload capacity.Attentions are paid into the designing of the time slot allocation scheme and flexible user access mode.Then,the network transmission ability and quality of the multimedia information in the distribution mechanism are studied with the network simulation platform OPNET.Finally,we test and analysis the performance of the designed mechanism in the actual TDMA link.The main work and innovation of this paper include:1)Designing of the multimedia information distribution system under TDMA data link,which supporting dynamic slot allocation scheme to ensuring the quality of multimedia transmission and improving the network utilization.2)Modelling user's behavior and designing flexible access scheme to increase the number of users that network can service.3)Simulating the TDMA distribution system with OPNET.Researching the transmission quality of the TDMA link to multimedia data under the designed multimedia information distribution system.4)Realizing the multimedia communication process,including encoding,decoding,transmission and playing of the video stream,and testing the performance on TDMA link.The simulation and real test show that the multimedia information distribution system and the dynamic access scheme can guarantee the transmission effect of multimedia information on TDMA link,which improving the network load capacity and service capacity.
