LTE system is the UMTS long term evolution proposed by 3GPP in 2004.Thereafter,3GPP proposed LTE-A and upgraded version of LTE-A in 2008.S ince carrier aggregation,up/downlink multi-antenna enhancement,heterogeneous network interference coordination enhance,and such key technologies is used in LTE/LTE-A system,not only the peak data rates,spectrum efficiency and pe rformance of cell edge users of wireless communication system,but also the ef ficient of network is improved greatly.Meanwhile,X2 interface,used for inter connection between base stations,is introduced in LTE/LTE-A,which can be d ivided into control plane and user plane.The control plane is mainly used for signaling between the base stations,while the user plane is mainly used for da ta transmission between the base stations.In LTE/LTE-A system,the base stati on assumes more and more radio resource management tasks,information exch ange between base stations is more frequently and a large number of signaling transfer is done through X2 interface,therefore the safety study of X2 interfa ce protocol becomes important.In this paper,we research the safety of X2 interface control layer,the ma in contents and innovations are as follows:1.Study the safety of X2 interface control plane signaling process innovati vely in this subject.It mainly includes cell PCI allocation,X2 handover and in ter-cell interference coordination.Through deep analysis of X2 protocol process,dig potential security flaws in X2 interference,we evaluate the safety perform ance of X2 interface comprehensively.2.Introduce self-organizing networks into LTE/LTE-A system,which can op timize allocation of resource,reduce labor cost and improve the function of ba se station greatly in LTE/LTE-A system.But self-organizing network can't be o perated in a smart way,for once an error is likely to cause a chain reaction t hat may cause great impact on network security.In this paper,we study the X 2 interface control plane from the aspect of self-organizing network innovativel y and analysis the network security.3.Build simulation platform to test the potential security issue in X2 interf ace control plane signaling process.And propose appropriate measure to impro ve the security and robustness of X2 protocol.
