In recent years,with the continuous development of optical networks,optical networks become more and more important due to its advantages of high speed and large capacity etc.Because of the video,audio and other multimedia services explosive increase,the size of optical networks are rapidly expanding.Ordinary single-layer optical network is not able to satisfy the needs of business,while multi-layer-multi-domain optical networks are capable of conducting topology planning and design in several layers and domains,as well as putting forward reasonable network construction solutions according to characteristics of SDH/ASON layer,WDM/OTN layer and fiber layer,joint planning in multiple layers can divide a large network into various layers of vertical domains based on location which is convenient for traffic grooming,business management,routing design and resource allocation.Network topology design in optical networks aims to initialize a new network and designs appropriate links to route traffic and arrange resource allocation,based on the known business and nodes,when the initial network is constructed,and then the service provider can lay fiber based on this network topology.Designing a routing and resource allocation policy to meet the loading balance in order to meet utilization requirements,according to various constraints can greatly save manpower,avoid unnecessary losses,save money,and optimize network costs,Thus presenting simulation results to determine whether the network is suitable for business in the region.
