Future 5G system is proposed to support tens of Gbps data rate trans-mission peak performance requirements.Larger bandwidth is one of the solutions to meet this requirement,but the spectrum resources below 6 GHz is very crowded,the future 5G systems need to explore the higher frequency band.In order to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the high frequency band signal in complex environment,a good comprehend of channel characteristics is necessary.Measurement and modeling of wire-less channel is the basis and premise of 5G technology research in the fu-ture.Thesis design a high frequency channel measurement platform to con-duct the 28 GHz band indoor and outdoor channel measurement and mod-eling.In addition,thesis also carry out the channel measurement and mod-eling of the 6 GHz band in the urban micro scene.The main contents and innovations of the work include the following three aspects:The design and setup of 28 GHz channel measurement platform.Firstly,advantages and disadvantages of the three mainstream wireless channel measurement platform are detailed analysied.Then,introduce the design of the channel measurement platform,including the system archi-tecture and main function module.Finally,expound the high frequency channel measurement platform implementation process via hardware structure,software design,and the algorithm.Measurement and modeling of 28 GHz channel characteristics in in-door and outdoor scenes based on measurement data,and explore the in-fluence of different antenna on channel measurement.The third chapter introduces the data processing of channel measurement,and expounds the definition of path loss and delay spread propagation.Then,thesis describes the measurement scenarios,equipment,antenna and configuration param-eters,condut the channel measurements of 28 GHz in Shoppingmall,Of-fice,and Outdoor scenarios.In the measurement process,the biconical an-tenna and horn antenna are both used to do comparison analysis.What's more,establish the model of path loss and delay spread in three scenarios based on the measurement.Measurement and modeling of 6 GHz channel characteristics in Ur-ban micro scene,and analysis the influence on channel propagation char-acteristics.In this paper,by comparing the measurement data of 6 GHz and 3.5 GHz channel measurement data.Then,give the influence of frequency increase on channel impulse response,path loss and the coverage.These are the work and innovation of this thesis,The high frequency channel will be further studied as the more channel measurement and mod-eling work conducted.
