Heterogeneous network technology was adopted by LTE-A system to expand network capacity.Low power nodes such as Femto,Pico or Relay are deployed in Macro cell so that the Macro base station serves the whole area in general while those low power nodes serve particular areas or hotspots.In this way,heterogeneous network technology can increase the frequency efficiency per unit area,expand the network capacity and improve users' quality of experience.However,the existence of those low power nodes make the network architecture more complicated and the inter cell interference problem more severe.Thus,efficient and reasonable resource management is necessary for maintaining the advantage of the heterogeneous network.So,this paper will study the interference coordination and resource allocation of the Macro-Pico heterogeneous network in LTE-A system.The LTE-A heterogeneous network system-level simulation platform will be an important tool to help with the research.So the network architecture,cell selection process,inter cell interference coordination and resource reuse in LTE-A system have been studied during the research and then a system-level simulation platform was built up.The platform is base on a basic homogeneous network simulation platform,and new modules for heterogeneous network are created and added to the original platform.The simulation platform will be used to help with verification and analysis during the whole research.This paper brings forward a novel point that to optimize the resource allocation in heterogeneous network system based on the quality of user experience.After thorough research of the quality of user experience in mobile video service,it has been found that the quality of user experience will be restricted by user's device and surrounding environment.While the quality of user experience reaches upper limit caused by the restriction,it can not be improved any more no matter how high the quality of the video is.However higher quality of video causes more transmit resource and higher energy consumption.While in LTE-A heterogeneous network,user's QoS is improve a lot thus the waste of radio resource and energy consumption after the quality of user experience is restricted is more severe.So this paper designs a resource allocation algorithm that takes both quality of user experience and energy consumption into account to help improve the network system energy efficiency.Furthermore,with the help of simulation,it has been demonstrated that the static ABS scheme can not adapt to different UE distribution situation and it decrease the system performance while the ABS number is not suitable.And the ABS scheme adjusts resource by per subframe which makes it impossible to do precise adjustment for different UE distribution situation.So this paper designs a feasible schedule interaction process under nonideal backhaul delay between Macro and Pico basing on centralized control network architecture.Then based on centralized scheduling,this paper proposes a dynamic inter cell interference coordination and resource reuse scheme by choosing different resource reuse pattern in real time scheduling.The simulation results verify that the proposed scheme works better in improving system performance than ABS scheme in different scenario.
