In the fifth generation of mobile communication system, dense heterogeneous cellular network as a new kind of network architecture, with the features of multiple levels and irregular architecture, can effectively improve the service rate, network throughput and spectral efficiency. But with the increase of the small base stations, the intra-cell interference between macrocell and small cell, and cross-layer interference between small cells become more and more serious, which becomes the key factor of affecting the network performance in the dense heterogeneous network system. Therefore, the research on interference problem in dense heterogeneous network is significant.Firstly, in order to solve the interference problems in dense heterogeneous network, a downlink system level simulation platform for the dense heterogeneous network has been built, including system scenario designing module, time-domain interference coordination module, frequency interference coordination module, frame manager module, radio channel module and RRC measurement module.Then, based on a system-level simulation platform for interference coordination management, time-domain and frequency-domain schemes are compared and analyzed in dense heterogeneous cellular networks. Frequency-domain interference coordination technology is mainly based on the interference graph-based and cluster-based ICIC mechanism. Time-domain interference coordination technology is mainly based on ABS and LP-ABS eICIC mechanism. On the one hand, the results of simulation prove the correctness of the platform. On the other hand, it also shows that the time-domain and frequency-domain interference coordination algorithms of the traditional heterogeneous cellular networks do not satisfy the performance requirements in dense heterogeneous cellular networks. And combining interference management techniques will be one of the research hotspots.Finally, in order to solve the problem that the performance is decreasing in dense heterogeneous cellular network, a hybrid interference coordination management scheme combining CoMP and dynamic eICIC is proposed in this thesis. On one hand, Dynamic eICIC technology has been used to eliminate the inter-cell interference by configuring LP-ABS optimum ratio and the transmit power of macro base station. On the other hand, CoMP technology has been deployed to eliminate the intra-cell interference by choosing the coordinated users and the coordinated cells, and allocating the cooperative resource. Simulation result verifies that the proposed scheme can achieve better spectrum efficiency both at macro-cell and small cell edge, and the network throughput is also improved.
