Mobile communication technology has developed for a long time.As a result of the development,the intelligent mobile terminal has become a part of modern life and the mobile communication network has become an indispensable basic resource for modern life.Considering the great pressure from the scarcity of spectrum resources,indoor scene and the Hot-Cell of the constraints of the traditional network system,LTE-A introduced the heterogeneous network technology.Heterogeneous network technology is a kind of new network forms: it is composed by Macro eNB and some lower power nodes(LPN)such as Relay,Femto and the Pico.The advantages of heterogeneous networks are mainly in the area of edge regions and Hot-Cell.However,this advantage will lead to the corresponding technical problems: 1.The problem in balanced load of the heterogeneous network between Macro eNB and LPN.2.The problem of interference in the heterogeneous network.In order to solve the problem in balanced load of the heterogeneous network,Cell Range Expansion(CRE)was introduced into the system of heterogeneous network technology.The core principle of CRE technology is to add a power value in low power nodes and the power value in Macro cell is 0.For mobile users,the range of Pico cell has be enlarged.The problem in balanced load of the heterogeneous network between Macro eNB and LPN has solved.In order to solve the problem of interference in the heterogeneous network,Enhanced Inter-Cell Interference Coordination(eICIC)was introduced into the system of heterogeneous network technology.Almost Blank Subframe(ABS)is the best solution to solve the problem of interference.The core principle of ABS technology is to get some blank subframes.In this paper,the main research work is around the concrete realization of Cell Range Expansion and Enhanced Inter-Cell Interference Coordination.
