| Driven by rapid development and popularization of the network,traditional network becomes an indispensable part of our life.The network is not designed to use worldwidely.There are many issues in reusability,safety,mobility and scalability in the network because the main usage of the network has been changed from device sharing to content sharing.CCN(Content Centric Network)rises in the proper time and conditions.CCN takes the content as the center and can better handle content distribution.It is a possible trend of future network.Search engine is significant to people and likes a basic network service connecting human and information,so it is important to implement a search mechanism in CCN.Each packet has a name but it is invisible to users in CCN.Users can get the full name by similar content search.Taking the advantages of CCN and the cache mechanism,we can add indexes to the cache and implement a distributed search system.Despite of search servers,users can also search within limits.It can ensure information acquisition and is meaningful to popularize CCN.This paper researched the traditional network,its search service and the advantages of CCN to propose a similar content search mechanism in CCN.The new search mechanism added indexes to the cache of each node in CCN.While the content passed in or out of caches,the information of the content name was added to or deleted from the indexes.Content in the cache could be queried by indexes.A search client was designed to query the index and was embedded into NDNBrowser as a module for convenient use.It could interact with users through web.Some test cases were run to test the search system.Demonstrated by practice,the new search mechanism performed better than an independent server did.Real data from a website was used to simulate real network environment.In comparison to an independent server,the new search mechanism was more than twice as efficient.The new search mechanism based on CCN solved some problems that traditional search engines had and provided a new way for CCN to acquire data.Finally,this paper summarized the work and looked forward to the future. |
