With the development of the Internet,the main demand of network gradually shifts from the traditional resource sharing to the contents retrieval.Regarding of this new demand for the Internet,traditional TCP/IP network has been showing a lot of inadaptability.In order to fundamentally solve the problem,the Information-Centric Network(ICN)was put forward under this background and got extensive research attention.Information-Centric Network presents the idea of information centric used in the application layer directly to the network architecture and replaces the traditional end-to-end network transmission mode with information oriented and end-to-network communication model.Together with the characteristic of in-network caching,ICN can further ensure the efficient content access.At the same time,with the popularity of wireless devices and the increase of user demand for wireless applications,wireless traffic will have increasing portion in the Internet overall traffic.Therefore,the study of the wireless information-centric network has huge potential and research value.ICN didn't propose detailed mechanism of transmission control in its original design.However,transmission control and its optimization are keys to the reliability and efficiency of network.So it has important research significance on how to optimize the transmission performance of wireless IC'N.In this paper,the congestion control problem of wireless ICN transmission is studied.With the fully consideration of the characteristics of wireless channel and the multi-source unpredictability,this paper proposes a network coding based and rate based sender-driven congestion control mechanism to ensure the reliability of wireless transmission and effectiveness of congestion control under multi-source scenario.Innovations of this paper are mainly in the following two aspects:1.In wireless ICN transmission,there are problems in both the validity of parallel multi-source transmission and packet loss caused by wireless channel.This paper introduces advantages of network coding into wireless ICN to realize the enhancement of transmission reliability and effective parallel multi-source transmission.2.In wireless ICN transmission,multi-source unpredictability brings new challenges on judgment and control of network congestion.This paper provides a novel rate-based sender-driven control mechanism.It will inform the sender with the fair flow rate,which is computed by the bottleneck node of the link according to its available bandwidth,to control its data sending rate.This control mechanism can not only judge the network congestion effectively under multi-source scenario but also perform congestion control respectively between different links of multiple sources.
