With the rapid development of wireless network technology,wireless local area network(WLAN)has been widely used while it is convenient,flexible,economical and easy to extend and other important advantages,overcomes the inconvenience that the cable restrictions and geographical factors in cable communication,can provide wireless access applications in a variety of circumstances,greatly changed people's way of life,started a new round of science and technology industry revolution.The IEEE 802.11 series standard have developed from the classic 802.11n to 802.11 ah protocol standard according to the characteristics of the Internet of things,and low power consumption goals of working under 1 GHZ frequency band,which uses a variety of key technologies to realize the target of reducing the energy consumption,expanding the coverage,increasing the number of accommodated nodes,with enhanced media access control technology and matched PHY layer technology,to achieve more efficient and high quality data transmission.In this thesis,we mainly focus on the high density protocol IEEE 802.11ah.joint structures,set up the associated system level simulation platform of the physical layer and MAC layer based on the IEEE 802.11 ah protocol,realized the performance simulation and verification of key physical layer technology and MAC layer access mechanism,and the new scheme with certain performance advantages is proposed.Considering the influence of system throughput which the number of users,bandwidth,traffic causes under different scenarios in the MAC layer of DCF,EDCA and RAW access scheme,compared to the packet loss rate,average delay and delay jitter with the change of users,at the same time,a new scheme based on geographical position partition RAW transmission scheme is proposed,which can get high performance improvement compared with the original plan has a larger,has a certain practical significance or the study of the latest protocol of WLAN.
