With the development of wireless communication, we can get some benefit from network in our life these years. But the limited bandwidth resources and the flexibility of the channel in WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network)may result to poor quality of the web service (high priority service). Although the EDCA (Enhanced Distributed Channel Access) of IEEE 802.11e can solve this problem to some extent, the QoS of the web may not be improved with the increasing of the load and the static parameter sets of EDCA.In order to solve this problem effectively, a new differentiated service scheme: N-EDCA is proposed in this paper based on the deeply research of EDCA. The new scheme can improve the transmission quality of the delay sensitive traffic by setting the low priority traffic parameter (AIFS) dynamically. Furthermore, the new scheme is convinced by module analysis. In the end, the performance of N-EDCA is evaluated via NS-2(Network Simulation) by comparing with EDCA. The results show that the new differentiated service scheme N-EDCA outperforms the original EDCA in terms of its support for strict priority. As the load increased, it could reduce the collision probability under stable condition. It can not only support the QoS of high priority traffic, but also improve the throughput of the whole network.
