Electric power data network is an important part of communication network.It carries a large number of business and applications,such as management information systems,power market data,multimedia services,voice services,etc.Faults in electric power data network greatly affects the communication network.Therefore,it is necessary to take effective measures to manage faults of data network for reaching the goal of faults location in the network rapid,secure and reliable.The existing electric power data network fault location mainly depend on the interface that alarm information through the network management system.The method determine the fault symptoms and fault nodes according to the related information,which has low location accuracy and high time complexity.With the expanding of network size,the passive network management for fault information positioning way already can not meet the requirement of the security and reliability of network.To solve above problems,this paper introduces network measurement method which sends active probe to the network,gets the information of network status,and proposes the fault location algorithm based on Bayesian network,which combine with the electric power data network fault management requirements.Firstly,aiming at the problem of how to deploy probes,we put forward probe deployment strategy which is based on the minimum nodes coverage to confirm the number and position of deploy probes,reaching minimal deployment probe number for coverage maximum.Secondly,we analyze the impact factor of nodes by using the theory of complex network,which represents influence degree of node failure in the network.Apply impact factor to fault location algorithm can improve the positioning accuracy.Lastly,through introduction of Bayesian network we establish the relationship model between probes and nodes,and locate fault nodes by applying the detection results and impact factors to the assumption of formula.The simulation experiments show that the proposed fault location algorithm effectively improves the precision of positioning and the efficiency of the fault location,meanwhile reducing the fault location error.It provides a effective fault location technology and improves quality of the operation of electric power data network operations staff.
