With the rapid development of cloud computing technologies,more and more independent developers and small development teams deploy their applications on the PaaS(Platform as a Service)cloud platform,because it frees the application developers from hardware maintenance and operational works.Although the PaaS cloud platform technologies has been quite mature,but in the face of the increasing Internet application types,the traditional PaaS cloud platform is exposed with problems,especially on the issue of compatibility which is mainly embodied in the flexibility of supporting multiple application running environments.Under this background,the development and application of PaaS cloud platform based on Docker become a hotspot.The PaaS cloud platform based on Docker,which solves the compatibility problem of the traditional PaaS cloud platform by adopting Docker,is proposed in this paper.The platform provides basic services of the traditional PaaS cloud platform such as application hosting,application monitoring.Moreover,due to the adoptation of Docker image building and Docker container creating,the compatibility and flexibility of the platform are greatly enhanced.In this paper,all relevant background knowledge is given first,including developing status and key technologies of PaaS cloud platform and Docker.Then the problems that exist in the traditional PaaS cloud platform are put forward,and the requirement analysis of the new PaaS cloud platform is summarized.Next,the design and implementation of the PaaS cloud platform based on Docker is introduced,resource scheduling subsystem,task scheduling subsystem,monitoring subsystem,message communication subsystem and database design are specified in detail,and the key processes of this platform are introduced.In the end,the deployment of the platform is described,and the effectiveness is proved with a set of tests.
