In recent years,with the large-scale construction of enterprise data center and the large-scale application of virtualization technology,the traditional network framework can not meet the needs of the data center,in this context,cloud platforms support VXLAN virtual network has evolved into a rigid demand.The design and implementation of VXLAN network based on CAS cloud platform,which provides the VXLAN network construction function when the data center is deployed with virtualization resources,customers can deploy the VXLAN network through the cloud platform management interface and reference the actual service network.The VXLAN network technology with more powerful network isolation capabilities than traditional VLAN network technology,it has been widely promoted in the new network framework applications.This paper firstly analyzes the application status of VXLAN network technology both at home and abroad,analyzes the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of different implementation schemes.It is concluded that VXLAN network technology is the key technology to construct Overlay network preference.Secondly,the contents of VXLAN implementation includs Overlay network architecture technology,Openv Switch,CAS cloud management platform and VXLAN basic protocol,are described in terms of principle and technology related aspects,which provide the technical foundation for VXLAN network function realization.Then,the VXLAN function is divided into VXLAN network front module,VXLAN network Libvirt module and VXLAN network Openv Switch module,and the demand modeling is carried out according to the function of different modules.Then,the VXLAN network front module mainly provides the user-configurable interface to configure the VXLAN network.The VXLAN network Libvirt module is designed according to the VXLAN network,the main role is to parse and pass the customer configuration of the network policy template information;and Openv Switch module is the key content of VXLAN network,to achieve the equivalent of v Switch virtual VTEP equipment is responsible for the specific processing VXLAN traffic package.Then,the design,implementation of each module and the optimization of VXLAN network are described in detail.Finally,according to the detailed design content to complete the coding of all the functions to achieve,and VXLAN network functions for a rigorous functional testing and non-functional testing,with reference to the expected test results to determine the VXLAN network function to achieve completly.The functional test results shows that the VXLAN network function based on the CAS cloud platform has been fully realized,it has been updated in the new product version of CAS cloud platform.Through the feedback of the customer who has deployed the VXLAN business network indicates,the VXLAN function satisfies the business requirements from the aspects of functional integrity,compression capability and processing performance.In the future,the VXLAN network function based on CAS cloud platform is mainly improved from v Switch internal processing circuit and MTU setting,which makes CAS cloud platform more suitable for large-scale data center network construction,and VXLAN network function will become Indispensable functional modules of virtualization products in the future.
