The ultra-short wave radio has several advantages,such as which volume is small,and weight is light,the distance of communication is long,the ability of anti-interference is strong,and the safety is high and the stability is good,so it was used widely in the field of military and civil.Especially in the military field,whatever in the air,land or sea,it is the main and most common platform for the message communication.The ultra-short wave radio communication quality will directly affect the order given and the commanding.If the ultra-short wave radio has appeared problems,it will impress the safety of life and property of peoples,even the national security was influenced if the problem appeared was seriously.Therefore,in order to keep the communication of ultra-short wave radio is always free,it would to be significant to research of the mechanism about the effect of communication was downgraded,and monitoringtheworking process statues about the communication.In this paper,in order to direct at the problem of the ultra-short wave communication was not satisfy with the requites about the distance of communication,it was too short,the study on the detecting technology with the airborne ultra-short wave antenna was carried out based on the theory about ultra-short wave radio and the test platform which based on a typical helicopter,also the advantages and disadvantages of several measuring methods during this study were analyze.The main research work in this thesis was make up by several depart as the following introduction.First,tracking the helicopter flight status,to analysis the flight test data and the problems which appeared during the flight test,and then the measurement work about ultra-short wave antenna was carried out based on the flight test data.Second,the working of ultra-short wave antenna measurement on the ground had been implemented to solution the problems which appeared during the process of flight test,the measurement work was consisted with airborne environment and sensitivity test,antenna,and the test of comparing with the antenna.In order to provide the basis for the optimization about ultra-short wave antenna in the next stage,the problems about ultra-short wave antenna had been found out according to the ground measurement test data.Third,in order to aim at the problem about the communication distance was not satisfied with required which was too short,several possible causing were analyze,and the test ab out electromagnetic interference effects to the antenna was carried out under several different electromagnetic environment separately in-house laboratory and outdoor in the Bei Yuan.Fourth,the direction of ultra-short wave antenna ground simulation test had been carried out,and the simulation test data was compared with the corresponding flight data,it was illustrated that the ground simulation test can provide a correct antenna data by the result of comparing which pointed out that the examination direction for antenna problems in the later,also the corresponding experience was increased.A complete systematic measurement way about antenna was provided in this thesis based on the engineering case of the airborne ultra-short wave radio flight test,it is very useful for the antenna examination in the later.This measurement way had been validated strictly by flight test,the validation result showed that the measurement way studied in this paper was reasonable and the data solution and evaluation method used in this thesis was correct,all of this ensuring the flight test about the helicopter as a test platform in this study was carried out effective,also the measurement was acceptable by the higher authorities and have a high engineering using values field.
