Channel is the transmitting media connecting the transmitting and receiving terminals, whose function is to connect the transmitter with receiver. Mobile communication transmits information by the transmitting media called radio channel, and whether the channel performance is good or not will affect the communication system. So the Ultra short wave frequency-hopping channel is analyzed, simulated and discussed, which will improve the performance of Ultra short wave frequency-hopping communication system.Based on previous research, we simulate and study the Ultra short wave frequency-hopping communication channel in this paper. Firstly, the principle, performance and anti-interference ability of frequency-hopping system are analyzed, with the emphasis on the effect of transmitting interference. Secondly, the characteristics of wireless channel are analyzed, such as the Doppler frequency shift, statistical properties of multi-path transmission, small-scale fading of radio wave propagation and its classification and so on. Then, the ADS simulation software is introduced, mainly including the basic operation, simulation foundation and partial simulator. Finally, combining the assumed conditions, the Ultra short wave frequency-hopping communication channel ranging from 30MHz to 88MHz is analyzed and discussed, and thus the model of frequency-hopping communication channel is further constructed.With the help of ADS simulation software, we first construct the corresponding model according to the Ultra short wave channel, then we simulate it, and further analyze and discuss the obtained results.
