S-band Active-phased Array Radar TR Module Study

With the maturation of solid T/R assembly technology and decrease of cost,Active Phased Array Radar is widely used in current military application.In this thesis,S-band T/R module are studied,which is the elements of transceiver frontend in some model radar of XEERI.Basing on radar transmitter&receiver design theory,the T/R module's design integrated mult-mix PCB produce,bring a high integration S-Band T/R assembly to success.The size of the S-Band T/R assembly is 175mm×125mm×25mm,and the weight is 750g.A series of tests show that,this assembly meets all design objectives and is stable and reliable.The T/R assembly's design validated some key techniques,achieved integrated T/R's design and made process.The study in this thesis has made some good achievements,lie a foundation for development of integrative T/R module design in X,Ku and Ka bands,and brings experiences in design of higher-density,integrated T/R assembly.
