There are three different kinds in Nilaparvata lugens:Nilaparvata lugens,Sogatella furcifera,Laodelphax striatellus,both of them are migratory pests.When we talk about the rice planthopper in the farming activities,it always refers to the Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera.Due to the Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera do serious damage to the rice.Rice planthopper has been the most important pests in the rice for a long time,it can be hidden,sudden and devastating.Besides,the secretion of rice planthopper leads to the mold growth,obstructing photosynthesis and respiration,which not only affect the people's life but also cost the Economic losses.Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera can be found in Japan,Vietnam,Laos and other Southeast Asian countries and regions.It has been a global problem for us to forecast and prevent the rice planthopper.In china,the plant protection staff use the traditional methods of investigation which greatly affected by human factors.Different people have different technique levels,experiences,education backgrounds and so on,which can leads to the different results.What's more,the traditional methods of investigation have many shortcomings,like large workload,high cost,huge errors,etc.So we can't wait to find a new method to replace the traditional ways.The China Research Institute developed an automatic identification system with Zhejiang Technology University.This system can deal with the image,figure out the target and finally count the numbers.This article is based on the research of the computer skills.We want to judge if the system is available at the low population density.We use xiushui 11 and yongyou 15 to do the inside experiment and outside experiment.Both of the two kinds of rice,we set up 5 different population density as 0.1/0.3/0.5/0.7/1 during the inside experiment.We use six traditional methods of investigation to count the numbers,including the automatic identification system.And then compare the six numbers with each other,we draw the conclusion that there was no significant difference between the six methods both in xiushuill and yongyoul5.It means that the automatic identification system can replace the traditional methods.In the outside experiments,we conduct the survey from Tillering Stage,Flowering Stage and Ripening Stage.For xiushui11,we found the automatic identification system can replace the traditional methods at Ripening Stage,can't be replaced at Tillering Stage and Flowering Stage.For yongyoul5,we found the automatic identification system can replace the traditional methods at Tillering Stage and Ripening Stage,can't be replaced at Flowering Stage.
