Traditional product information exchange and sharing has always focused on geometric data exchange and sharing.Model-based definition(MBD)technology becoming the mainstream method today. It is not enough to realize geometric data exchange between heterogeneous systems only, but also need to realize the exchange of three-dimensional product manufacturing information and non-geometric information.Based on the STEP AP242 application protocol(MBD),this paper proposes a multi-view semantic model based on semantic cells to realize the STEP representation based on the ontology model.Based on this model, the association between the non-geometric information and the geometric information based on the semantic cell is established by means of the visualization platform, and the rule reasoning of the geometric dimension tolerance information of the three-dimensional annotation is realized. The specific research work is as follows:(1)Based on STEP AP242 application protocol,a multi-view semantic model is constructed. The rules and methods of MBD STEP ontology are given.(2)On the basis of the above method, the information of the entities and attributes related to the tolerance analysis in the GD & T specification information is extracted, and the SWRL rules are defined to carry out the tolerance stack-up analysis.Combined with a example of complex assembly, the reasoning research will give the most appropriate tolerance range while analyzes the problems that may arise under worse cases and how to avoid them.(3)Constructing the visualization platform and establishing the connection between the non-geometric information and the geometric information based on the semantic cells. At last,I demonstrate the result of tolerance reasoning.
