With the continuous development of the Internet and manufacturing integration trend, the traditional way of product information exchanging and sharing cannot meet the demand of the development of the modern enterprise. With the concept of ontology to express product data information has gradually become a hot research topic, and OWL-based product information expression has matured. However, the product information based on ontology description method only involve the product information on the level of syntax expression, it ignores the semantic level of the unified semantic information on product description.In this paper,we focus on the reserch of using OWL-based description of product information to achieve a unified description of geometic and non-geometric information. Through the establishment of the product information model based on semantic cell to achieve a unified description method, including the ontology of STEP geometry infomation and other non-geometric information.On the basis of using NUBRS to present product information in WebGL geometry reconstruction,thus to create a effective way to unified cross-platform semantic model exchanging in web enviroment. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) This paper studies the unified description method of geometric and non-geometric information of the product information based on semantic cell.After analysis the shortcomings of the current product information expression based on ontology,this paper using the OWL described STEP product information as data source,and combining the theory of hypergraph and MBD model,set up the product information model based on semantic cell-SCPIM model.and it gives the formal definition and mapping rules between OWL and SCPIM model.(2) Based on the SCPIM model.this paper studies the extraction and conversion methods for semantic cell from OWL described STEP product information,meanwhile studies the semantic cell construction of product feature information and dimension information.(3) Based on the semantic cell described STEP product geometry information.this paper realizes the geometry display in WebGL by using NURBS theory.(4) Through the prototype system to validate the OWL-based product information geometry reconstruction process.
