It is significant to detect the dissolved oxygen for environment monitoring,aquaculture,marine science and so on.With the fast development of many kinds of detection technology,an on-line and real-time sensor is to meet the command since more attention paid to the environment protection.Optical fiber dissolved oxygen sensor is a new field in oxygen detection for its high sensibility,fast response,stable property in anti-electromagnetic Interference and low loss.An optical fiber dissolved oxygen sensor based on fluorescence detection with the feedback of water temperature obtained by a sensor made of fiber brag grating is fabricated.In this paper,Ru(phen)3Cl2 is used as fluorescent indicator,the oxygen sensing membranes were prepared by sol-gel method.The influence of compounding ratio of sol raw materials,the amount of fluorescent material and laying aside time of the sol liquid have been studied and the fabrication process has been optimized to improve the uniformity and the efficiency of photoluminescence quantum yield.A novel probe construction is presented to improve the optical stability and receive more signal of the fluorescence,making it possible to detect dissolved oxygen by fluorescence intensity detecting.Fiber brag grating of the temperature sensor is packaged by ceramic tube to eliminate the influence of press,thus the sensor is sensitive to the temperature only.A series of testing on the optical fiber dissolved oxygen sensor showed good stability and repeatability.The fitting curve of the response to the dissolved oxygen shows good linearity with the accuracy of 0.02mg/L,response time less than 30 seconds,and a high anti-disturbance capability;The temperature sensor of which the accuracy is 0.2 ?,and response time is about 5 seconds is sensitive to temperature only,and can give the feedback to the dissolved oxygen sensor.
