The scene simulation is a basic work in the field of virtual reality. Ocean wave scene is one of the complex virtual reality scenes. Firstly, the shape of the ocean waves is complex,and it can't be constructed by simple geometry. It is a large amount of data that needs to be constructed in the use of basic geometric primitives. Secondly, the ocean waves are dynamic,and the computer is required to make a new drawing in every time. Once more, the formation of the ocean waves is influenced by many factors. The variation of the waveform is varied.The shape of the waves at different times is random. Finally, the marine environment is diverse. The weather is changeable. The environment light source needs to consider the reflection and refraction of the normal. The final color of the waves is not determined. If light is not handled well, it will greatly affect the authenticity of the wave simulation. Because of the complex factors of the ocean wave's formation, there are many difficulties in the modeling and rendering of ocean waves.In this paper, the modeling and rendering technology of the ocean wave scene is analyzed and studied. First, we propose a method of ocean wave spectrum modeling based on perturbation. It is aimed at the problem of periodic repetition and the sense of reality. In order to stack the noise in Berlin ocean, this method is put forward based on the view point. When a large area of sea surface in the scene, according to the superposition formula given in this paper, the perlin noise and the wave spectrum generated by the height of the stack. It makes the height of the corresponding sea level changes, and thus weaken the phenomenon of periodic repetition and improve the real sense of the sea surface. Compared with the traditional method of ocean wave spectrum modeling, the modeling method is lower, and it can meet the requirements of real time modeling.Secondly, In this paper, a ray tracing algorithm based on simple illumination is proposed,which is suitable for the scene of the wave. It is aimed at the problem of wave rendering frame in dynamic. Ray tracing algorithm is based on the illumination model. In this paper, it is found that the global illumination model of the ocean wave scene is not necessary when the ray tracing method is working. Therefore, the illumination model of the simplified refraction and the limiting reflection rays is proposed. Most of the objects are distributed in a certain range of the sea surface height. It is consumed in the gap between the upper and the sky boxes ,most of time. So this paper presents a new strategy for accelerating structure and selective updating.Finally, this paper analyzes the factors of the sea surface floating movement. With the rendering of ocean wave modeling based on 3D visualization system,the paper establishes a drift model.
