As an emerging and advanced measurement technology,smart metering can realize data automatic collection,accurate transmission,record and sorting for each watt-hour meter,so as to achieve the purpose of maintaining power grid stability,improving the work efficiency.However,with the increase of the information interaction between the user side and the power grid and the improvement of the security and reliability requirements of the power system,the potential safety problem of collection on measurement information highlighted increasingly,so the problem to solve the security problem of smart metering communication system has become an urgent and arduous task.Firstly,this paper introduces the electric energy metering technology and its supporting technology---Advanced Measurement Infrastructure(AMI)in the smart grid environment.According to the requirement of the demand response and energy service,Energy Service Interface(ESI)is proposed as the gateway of user side.Based on the concept of AMI,the security risks of smart metering communication process are analyzed,and the measurement model of intelligent community and energy management center is put forward.When measuring the electricity information of users,the distributed energy information is integrated.And then combined with power grid operation and user privacy,a hierarchical intelligent metering and communication system architecture is built.Secondly,according to the requirement of communication security of smart metering system,this paper proposes a multi-tree path generation protocol with auxiliary node,and based on which,a multilevel power aggregation authentication scheme with shielding parameters is designed focusing on the collection of the uplink user's power and load information.The scheme can effectively solve the problem of legal user communication,data encryption and message integrity authentication.Finally,the security analysis and Simulation of the proposed scheme are carried out.The simulation results show that the research work is technically feasible and can meet the security requirements of smart metering communication system.
