Because the scarcity of the wireless resource,it’s an open question to fulfill the need of more and more users.Game theory have been used greatly for resource allocation in wireless network,however,traditional game assume that users are rational,which is unreal.Due to the bad wireless channel condition and the mobility,users can’t obtain the full information about the environment and other users.Derived from the evolution of life,evolutionary game excludes this assumption,it’s an appropriate tool to allocate resource among simple terminals.Considering the Femtocell network,Femto-AP is introduced to enlarge the coverage of BS in cellular networks,but also interfere with other users.Femto-AP is too simple to implement the centralized configuration and allocation,two-layer game consists of a non-cooperative game for power and a evolutionary game for subcarrier allocation is introduced to solve the problem,simulation show that two-layer game can achieve the NE.In the cooperation network,relays decide to help the source node or not,so the source node can be seen as the strategy of relays.A evolutionary game can be formulated.The power level of relay can be formulated as a non-cooperative game,two game are implemented alternatively,simulation show that two-layer game can achieve the NE.With the steadily rising energy cost and the need to reduce the globalCO2 emission to protect our environment,researchers and manufactures have investigated new approaches and components to make communications to be energy-efficient,i.e.Green Communications.In this paper,we focus on one key challenge of Green Communications–reducing the energy consumption of base stations.Firstly,we propose a new strategy–Load Concentration.As the adverse case of load balancing,load concentration can be used effectively under low traffic load.Secondly,we propose a new technology–Cell Choking,which can be used to switch off some idle AP.Thirdly,we present the LA algorithm for minimizing the number of active AP.We also prove that it is the optimal algorithm to realize load concentration in general cellular networks for energy saving.Finally,simulation results show that load concentration can greatly reduce the energy consumption of cellular networks.
