Cloud computing is a large-scale distributed computing paradigm that is driven by economies of scale,its core idea is to abstract a large number of computing resources using virtualization technology to form a large pool of computing resources,and services are delivered on demand to customers over the Internet.In recent years,due to the possibility of providing high computational resources at low cost,Cloud computing has attracted attention in numerical simulation fields.such as computational fluid dynamics,computational electromagnetics,and so on.In this thesis,through the deep study of cloud computing and electromagnetic computation,makes full use of the advantages of cloud computing in resource elastic allocation,dynamic resource scheduling and dynamic scalability,and combines the characteristics of electromagnetic computing with large amount of computing,high network traffic and so on,designed and implemented an electromagnetic task collaborative computing platform with the characteristics of cross-regional,multi-level and highly scalable.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the characteristics and application examples of the mainstream open source cloud computing platform in detail,and summarizes the research progress and prototype system of high performance computing in cloud environment in recent years.On the basis of fully considering the running characteristics and efficiency of the electromagnetic algorithm,we have done a detailed analysis of the design goals and expected functions of the computing platform,and presents a design scheme of highly available electromagnetic computing platform that can across the wide area network and dynamically expandable.According to the management requirements of electromagnetic computing tasks,we have designed an electromagnetic task management method that defines the communication format between the user and the electromagnetic task computing platform.Secondly,according to the proposed design,we implemented the main function modules of the platform.Based on Open Stack open source cloud computing platform and high performance computing technology,deployed the electromagnetic algorithm running environment,completed the management and monitoring of computing resources.According to the requirements of electromagnetic task management,implemented the electromagnetic task management method,and provided customers with platform external interface based on the HTTP protocol.Finally,built the computing platform in real computing environment,on the platform,we tested the electromagnetic task management,resource management and other function,and the actual experiments are carried out on the main examples of physical optics,moment method,finite difference time domain method,high-order method of moments,finite element method and multilevel fast multipole algorithm.The results show that the computing platform has completed the automatic deployment and task calculation process monitoring of the electromagnetic computing task and realized the dynamic monitoring and management of the computing resources across the wide area network.The calculation process of each electromagnetic algorithm is normal and the calculation result is accurate.
