With 3D printing technology entering civilian areas such as education,art design and medicine,market demand of low cost desktop 3D printers is expanding.At present,the domestic research on the motion control of 3D printer stepper motor is not deep-going.The research on color printing technology is focused on mechanical design,and the control technology is not discussed too much.In this paper,with FDM desktop 3D printer as the experimental platform,3D printer control system has been researched and designed based on advanced ARM microcontroller to solve above problems.Firstly,this paper gives an overview of FDM 3D printing process and introduces the research status of 3D printer control system at home and abroad including various kinds of control system scheme,motion control technology and color printing technology.A design scheme of 3D printer control system based on STM32F103 ARM microcontroller is put forward,including hardware circuit design and software architecture scheme.Then the input part of control system is described,including the realization of data communication,human machine interface display and key functions.This paper focuses on the implementation process of the stepper motor motion control of the 3D printer,including the research of CNC interpolation algorithm and the speed look-ahead control algorithm.The S curve acceleration and deceleration algorithm is used to replace the original speed control algorithm.The effectiveness of the motion control program is verified by the contrast experiment,and the printing precision of 3D printer is improved.The increment PID control algorithm and Bang-Bang control are described,based on which the temperature control algorithm of the nozzle and the hot bed is carried out and verified by experiments.Finally,this paper discusses the principle of color printing and analyzes the influence factors of color printing.The color printing control method is proposed.The process parameters of color printing control system are determined,and the effectiveness of color printing control program is verified by experiments.
