To deal with the new challenges of 4th mobile generation system in the bandwidth,peak rate and compatibility and so on,the standardization program of Long Term Evolution-Advanced(LTE-A)system has been launched by 3GPP.Within the current spectrum regulatory framework,it has been difficult to allocate some whole frequency bands to LTE-A system to meet its demand in bandwidth.Carrier aggregation(CA)is one of the key techniques to support the wider bandwidth and fulfil the higher data rate requirement for the LTE-A system.In order to reasonably use spectrum resource aggregated by CA technology,communication system should adopt various resource scheduling algorithms according to different carrier aggregation scenarios.In this paper,the project that we will research is resource scheduling algorithms in LTE-A system based on carrier aggregation.At first,we expound the research background and significance of this project,illustrate The research status at home and abroad,generalize the main work and innovation points,introduce the paper structure.Then,we study the related knowledge about LTE-A system and its' key technologies,study emphatically the CA technology,research related contents of downlink resource scheduling.Finally,we design two kind of new algorithms.A resource scheduling algorithm is proposed in the inter-band carrier aggregation scenario.In this scenario,we assume that the system supports four different kinds of typical services and their characteristics are not the same.At the same time,the center frequency of different component carriers is very different and the coverage of different carriers are different in this scenario.Based on these characteristics,we propose four kinds of Quality of Experience(QoE)evaluation functions,design a kind of effective resource scheduling algorithm named MJQS-QPF and Modified Joint Queue Scheduler(MJQS)to help the algorithm implementation.Simulation results show that this algorithm not only improves the fairness and throughput of users,but also guarantees the carrier load balance and user experience quality.A resource scheduling algorithm is proposed in the intra-band carrier aggregation scenario.The center frequency and radio wave propagation characteristics of each carrier are very close.At the same time,the scenario is a multi-cell LTE-A system,that's to say there are inter-cell interference.Based on these features,we use the graph coloring theory in this system,design the utility function which covers a number of factors,and proposed and effective resource scheduling algorithm GCS.At the same time,we design User-grouping Dynamic Carrier Corporate Scheduler(GCS).Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieve remarkable performance improvements in terms of avoiding the inter-cell interference.It not only improves the fairness and system throughput,but also ensures the carrier load balance.
