Nowadays,with the popularity of 4G,the speed of network transmission enhances significantly.And it provides the great opportunity of rapid development for the streaming media service as well.As for the popular streaming media service,the existing EVAluation criteria are mostly based on the quality of service(QoS)of the network and devices,but it cannot represent the users' experience directly.Therefore,the quality of experience(QoE)has been proposed.And meanwhile,it gives the relEVAnt standards for how to guarantee the QoE of streaming media service.In this paper,under the protection of QoE requirements,the research on TCP transmission based on QoE-Guaranteed streaming media service has been discussed.Firstly,study the relationship among of QoE,stall,packet loss,delay and TCP throughput,discuss the demand of streaming media service on TCP throughput.Secondly,analyze the performance of TCP,explain the existing problems of TCP topology in mobile wireless network.And introduce Holt-Winters and offset correction to optimize the bandwidth estimation algorithm based on TCP Westwood.Moreover,establish the simulation platform to verify that the new algorithm can improve TCP throughput in three typical LTE scenarios.Compared with TCP Westwood,the new algorithm can forecast the bandwidth more accurate,and its fairness has better performance.Because of the guidance of QoE-guaranteed streaming service,there are many projects to improve TCP throughput.The cross-layer TCP has been proposed and discussed in this paper.And the improvement of cross-layer TCP throughput has been verified in the simulation platform.
