Wireless multi-hop network(Ad-hoc)is composed of mobile nodes with wireless transmitters and receivers which can networking rapidly between nodes.Ad-hoc network has advantages of flexibility,no need of base support, rapid networking, strong ability to adapt to the environment and multi-hop routing. It is robust, invulnerable, and low-cost.So it is widely used in future military war, disaster communication, sensor networks, vehicle networks,UAVS and the like.Routing protocol is the most important issue to establish a wireless multi-hop network.Academic study to routing technology of wireless multi-hop network has been carried out for many years, and has developed a variety of routing protocols. But these routing protocols just adapt to low speed scenarios, generally tens of meters per second. For high-speed scenarios,it is necessary to improve these routing protocols to meet the high-speed feature. The main research of this thesis is routing protocol design, simulation and implementation which are based on high speed scenarios, making the routing protocol to meet the demands of high mobility characteristics, rapid networking capability and good routing efficiency. The designed routing protocol combines the advantages of link-state protocol and GPS positioning technology to improve the OLSR protocol. It introduces the predictor of Link Expiration Time(LET)which predicts the survival time of the route according to the motion and position information provided by GPS.The LET contributes to broadcasting routing control messages and Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm in the proceed of routing finding and routing table calculation. This thesis confirms validity and feasibility of the designed protocol and compares the performance with the traditional OLSR protocol through the simulation experiments in the NS2 simulation platform. Finally, implement the routing protocol on the uC/OS-? embedded system, collaborate with other modules together to compose a high-speed wireless multi-hop networking system.
