Key Technology And Implementation Of Spectrum Monitoring System

With the rapid growth of wireless communication technology,society’s demand for radio spectrum keeps growing.In this social context,the number of radio stations is growing,which makes electromagnetic environment in the air increasingly complex.Therefore,to use the spectrum in the most effective and most economical way is quite essential.This paper analyzes the status of spectrum monitoring and requirements of its system,so that software system structure is designed accordingly.A set of spectrum monitoring software system is implemented based on the design.This monitoring system supports different kind of spectrum monitoring hardware.A spectrum monitoring network is set up and real monitoring is performed by leveraging self-developed hardware as well as a bought one,after their APIs’ implementation and added to software system.This paper also develops algorithms for spectral data compression and noise estimation,and engages them into software system.
