With the rapid development of mobile communication,LTE-A is evolving and updating steadily on the base of the original version.Some newly introduced technologies in Release 10,such as carrier aggregation,heterogeneous net,CoMP and other technologies,make the control signaling surge in demand and limit the capacity as a constraint system performance bottlenecks.Therefore,it is significant to study the design,performance,optimization of the enhanced physical downlink control channel.This paper combines the theory and practice to study the specific technical background and details of the design according to the proposal RAN1 meeting firstly.The MATLAB simulation platform is built after reading the protocol.Finally,on this basis of testing the channel performance and analyzing its reasonableness,improving the original algorithm design of protocol and reaching optimization.Chapter 1 of this thesis briefly introduces the large background of communications' development,including the downlink subframe of LTE and features of channel or signal design;chapter 2 describes the three typical downlink control channels,respectively unfolding statement in allusion to their information coding schemes,processes and capacity.Chapter 3 introduces E-PDCCH newly introduced in the R11,including the coding scheme,transmission mode,the resource mapping by the sender and the process in the receiver.Based on the original design of E-PDCCH,chapter 4 puts forward an optimization algorithm of resource mapping,and two improved schemes to reduce the amount of unnecessary calculations.This is the focus of this study.Finally,it shows some relative simulation results and analyses the rationality.This paper analyses the design difference of PDCCH and E-PDCCH,the difference of localized transmission and distributed transmission,the difference of performance before and after optimizing.Then many simulation results are given in different channel models in condition of different configurations.It discusses key problems of the Channel performance optimization;this is also the core of this article.The results of simulation anddata analysis shows that E-PDCCH has great improvement in performance or the computer process compared to the PDCCH;the scheduling process of shared channel is more efficient to alleviate the pressure of the whole system.
