Based on computer and network technology,the information industry industry has been greatly developed in recent years, increasing the demand for high storage capacity more than TeraBytes and higher realibility and higher speed to process the access requirement, providing broader bandwidth and slower delay and the ability to share storage.From the view of component of storage system.it includes three parts:Disk array, Interconnect network system and storage software. Its infrasture can be concluded in three main fields: DAS (Direct Attached Storage), NAS (Network Attached Storage) and SAN(Storage Area Networks).On every point, disk array is the key and core of the storage system.RAID can efficiently increase the ability to process I/O requirements with normal disk and interface. It can satisfy the demand for data realibility and availiability. With the demand for data security higher and higher , it becomes an urgent task to master the key storage technique.After thoroughly studied the Cache management policy, data layout policy, small write problem and data reconstructure algorithm, the article brings out our own implementing algorithm. With the hardware platform of two processor and big cache, we design a RAID system, RAID_FC. It can satisfy the storage demand of enterprise usage.Massive information storage technology is in the ascendant. Every walk of business has growing demand for RAID system in china. The army and national security department especially ask for our own product. So it is of long term meaning to master the key technology.
