Collaborative Navigation Technology is a new method of navigation and positioning,which developing following Satellite Navigation and Positioning and Inertial Navigation Systems at the end of last century. Collaborative Navigation Technology uses communication technology to achieve navigation information sharing between vehicles, combining data fusion method to improving precision of vehicle positioning. According to collaborative navigation features, navigation system requires the navigation computer be able to process and calculate its own navigation information and the shared locate information from other carriers, besides, considering the environmental factor of collaborative navigation, there are higher requirements of the computer's power consumption, cost, reliability.After analyzing the requirements of Collaborative Navigation System, a design of navigation computer hardware solutions based on OMAP platform is proposed. The Navigation System uses United States TI OMAP-L138 as the company's dual-core heterogeneous processor core processing chip, and the ARM of the OMAP-L138 subsystem to do data storage, display and communication work.Based on the above design ideas, the paper first designs the schematic diagram of hardware platforms and draws the Printed Circuit Board according to the synergetic navigation system navigation computer function requirements, and performance indicators.Then do the navigation computer software design and development work according to the function, implement the system starting and Dual-core communications between the internal through researching TI dual-core communications for OMAP platform. Finally, build cross-development environment on a PC machine, and complete Linux kernel and U-Boot transplantation work.Through testing the interface circuit, navigation decoding performance, data storage and output display of Collaborative Navigation Computer,it is indicated that the navigation computer hardware system is stable and reliable, and the navigation solution in real time and data storage capability has achieved the desired objectives, Implement the basic requirements of synergetic navigation system.
