In recent years, OFDM is a hotspot in the research of underwater acoustic communication. Underwater acoustic node is the foundation of underwater network.Low-power consumption, abundant peripheral and dual-core cooperation is the key character of OMAP series which were widely researched in recent years. The main content of this paper is a basic real-time implementation based on OFDM underwater acoustic communication node on OMAP-L138 platform. On C6748 DSP core, a DSP/BIOS real-time operation system is applied as digital signal processing platform, which includes modulation and demodulation of OFDM core algorithm, channel estimation and compensation, synchronization, frequency compensation. A data transition and reception subsystem is also implemented on CODEC. Meanwhile, On ARM core, an embedded Linux system is applied as fundamental framework platform for implementation of ethernet data transition. Inter-core communication within dual-core is developed on DSPLink, which includes inter-core communication and data interchange. The system is mainly implemented on embedded Linux operation system and DSP/BIOS, and has capability of real-time data processing, which offers the opportunity of system real-time implementation. With the verification of real-time and functional character in electrical joint debugging,a pool experiment was taken in Underwater Acoustic Experiment Building,Harbin Engineering University. Verifying the real-time and functional character in acoustic joint debugging, and:also provide margin for further improvement on algorithm.
