In recent years,wireless communication technology is in a stage of rapid development and have wide applications in our daily life,the popularity rate of mobile terminals and its coverage area are rising year by year,improving the performance of the communication system and effectively advancing the system capacity as well as spectrum efficiency have become the focus of research in this field.In the present study,a variety of multiplexing technology can Achieve this goal,in which the orbital angular momentum multiplexing technology as a novel technology has a broad research space,and it gradually become a hot research field of electromagnetic and radio communication.OAM multiplexing technology are using the orthogonal characteristics between different OAM modal of electromagnetic vortex wave which can complete the multi-channel electromagnetic vortex wave signal encoding and transmission sent without interference at the same time and frequency,so as to achieve the purpose of multiplexing transmission,which is a way of enhancing the channel capacity and spectral efficiency in the present research.Based on the study of electromagnetic vortex wave related knowledge,this paper combines the generation method of electromagnetic vortex wave,microstrip antenna design theory,realization of circular polarization theory,array antenna design theory,the method of array feed and other technical means,some microstrip patch antenna as array element are arranged with the certain radius along the circumference,and though the use of high-speed RF switch produce feed phase difference,so that the array antenna is capable of generating and transmitting electromagnetic vortex wave signal which carry a variety modals of orbital angular momentum.In this paper,we design several new OAM electromagnetic vortex wave array antenna which can work in the 5.3GHz free Wifi band,K band and Ku ISM band by Ansoft HFSS software.According to the orthogonal characteristics of electromagnetic vortex wave and combining the orbital angular momentum with circular polarization in the design of OAM array,we design a OAM array which can produce electromagnetic waves with OAM and circular polarization characteristics,and it can further improve the radiation performance of vortex wave electromagnetic.However,in the existing research,OAM array antenna can only produce several modal.In order to solve this problem,the antenna parameters,the number of array elements and the structure layout are redesigned in this paper,and the this OAM array can transmit up to I1 different modes of electromagnetic vortex waves which it generate modal value are l=0,l=±1,l=±2,l=±3,l=±4,l= ±5.In addition,in order to solve the problem of low energy gain area of electromagnetic vortex,we designed a novel double loop array antenna to improve the performance,and it can effectively increase energy and gain near the radiation axis of antenna and enhance its direction.The S11 parameter,two-dimensional electric field radiation pattern,3D pattern and gain data of several OAM array antenna show that they have good radiation performance in the frequency range of the antenna bandwidth,and the simulation results are studied and discussed with the relevant principle.Finally,we summarize this paper and point out the problems existing in the current multi-mode OAM electromagnetic wave array antenna and analysis the programme of its performance optimization,and its prospects have been presented.
