With the advent of the information age,the amount of information generated by the communications industry has increased exponentially.The amount of information carried by the traditional wireless communication technology is becoming more and more difficult to meet the demand of the increasing amount of information.How to expand the spectrum and how to greatly improve the band utilization are problems that wireless communication technology should solve at present.The vortex electromagnetic wave is a kind of electromagnetic wave carry orbital angular momentum.It has many radiation modes and different radiation modes are orthogonal to each other.Using the angular momentum of the vortex electromagnetic wave as the signal carrier,one radiation pattern can carry signal,so that multiple signals can be carried in the same frequency band,which is a potential method to solve the shortage of spectrum resources.In this paper,in view of the orbital angular momentum theory,combined with the microstrip patch antenna,microstrip antenna,broaden waveband technology of microstrip antenna and theory of array antenna,we design and simulate three kinds of microstrip array antennas by using HFSS simulation software,discussing and analysing the performance parameters of array antennas,and looks forward to the development prospect of the vortex electromagnetic wave array antenna.The main research work focuses on the following:1.Based on orbital angular momentum theory,the theory of microstrip patch antenna and array antenna theory,we use the four-element microstrip array antenna and eight-element microstrip array antenna to produce vortex electromagnetic waves carrying orbital angular momentum,to discuss the impact of the number of elements and array radius on effect of electric field vortex radiation.2.we design a new type of tripartite-ring array antenna,which can carry more number of orbital angular momentum and has better vortex radiation performance than single-ring array antenna,this array antenna has smaller directional angle opening.3.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional array antenna which has narrow frequency band,using the microstrip antenna broadband theory and researching two kinds of dual frequency antennas,we design an array antenna based on slotted microstrip patch antenna can work in the k band and Ku band,the electric field vortex has good performance.
