With the further prevail of smart mobile devices and advancement of internet technology,Applications for mobile devices has made its way to almost every aspect of the modern life.Due to the advantages it brought to the competition and industry-related strategy,user stickiness has attracted a great deal of attention.However,as it exists differently for different products,and with different specific strategies scattering around the industry,the concept has never been properly coined and have no theory to relate to when it comes to how ever it came to be.Knowing the basic mechanism of stickiness behavior is important in understanding this special concept therefore to come up with innovative user preserving strategies.So it's important to provide the internet industry with a research for user stickiness,in order to inspire creativity.The article started by gathering and analyzing the researches up-to-date,summarizing the current conclusions about the concept itself,related factors,evaluation methods and improving strategies.The previous research has unanimously agreed to the fact that essentially user stickiness is a form of behavior,based on which we introduced the persuasive technology into the research and suggesting that trigger,motivation and ability-like all the behavior there is-are the three main categories for factors.Then interviews conducted on users are analyzed and factors are gathered,then through quantitative research the factors are proven to be universal and comprehensive.The mechanism of user stickiness were established through three rounds of openly discussions and card sorting,describing the process of user stickiness in four major phases,which are awareness,adoption,forming and shaped,and how every factor changes along the flow.The research further discussed the basic guidelines when using the model for analyzing and strategy brain storming.And lastly come up with the answered the question of what it really means to facilitate stickiness among users.The research concluded with a workshop,using the user stickiness mechanism for product evaluation and guiding for innovative user stickiness improving strategies.
