Design And Implementation About Video Monitoring System In Camera Network Map

The camera monitoring network is utilized in the public security system,high-end residential,campus and public institution.The camera network distribution map is quietly formed,which will produce massive video files.The technical personnel face a number of monitoring screens,and they utilized traditional retrieval methods which are subject to great restrictions or even inefficient.In order to improve the level of monitoring,we can use computer vision technology to intelligently deal with massive video data.However,the monitoring system about overall analysis of the video is poor,and the target tracking is mostly on the single video.So it is difficult to search and track the target in the multi-camera surveillance videos.This thesis aims to study an intelligent video surveillance system that can analyze the multi-video source data in the camera monitoring network.This design is based on the OpenCV machine vision library and the Linux platform.Firstly,we use the GIS(Geographic Information System)development technology and computer vision technology.Secondly,we can use the background subtraction method in the single camera video to extract the prospect and match the color of the target clothes which can achieve the target detection.Thirdly,we can use the particle tracking algorithm based on color histogram to track the target,then we use Search Method about neighborhood areas to determine the direction of the target.Repeat the above operation,until we get full path about moving target.Finally,the paths are depicted on the camera network map.After completing the analysis of all the important videos,we will eventually get the time information summary table which record target's activities in the monitoring network.The monitoring staff can extract important video segments according to their own needs.The experiment shows that the intelligent video surveillance system in the camera network map is proposed in this thesis.It can effectively improve the working efficiency for the technical personnel,and it can promote the development of security work to a certain extent.
