Research On Network Depth Reporting In Mobile Internet

With the popularity of mobile smart devices and increasing coverage of 4G mobile networks and wireless network, China's mobile Internet presents a blowout development.The news client media were created to gather and publish information. Since 2010,traditional media older portal and other emerging business media have pushed their news clients, to seize the market share of content. Homogeneous content makes the competition in trouble. Similar to the traditional media, in-depth coverage has become the magic of their differentiation strategy. This article aims to study the in-depth coverage in the era of mobile internet.I selected the original content channel — "the truth channel" of NetEase news client as my subject. The channel comprises of three columns——the investigation report section "road signs", the explanatory report section "hot observation" and the character report section "big country small people". Nowadays, In the area of network in-depth coverage, the academics mainly focus on the field of news topics. Most scholars, from the perspective of the news business, discuss the form, features, narrative characteristics of special reports, as well as the advantages and disadvantages compared with traditional media but seldom conduct research about network in-depth coverage which is an independent style. This paper aims to study the in-depth coverage as an independent style.In addition to the analysis of column setting, characteristics and form, the paper will also involve the topics such as selection standard of news topic, operation process,self-examination of interviewing and editing team, traditional media transformation and other issues, hoping to provide incremental for the research field of mobile Internet.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first part introduces the research significance and background of the thesis, summarizing the research on the network in-depth coverage in the domestic and foreign academics as well as the forefront of the foreign reports. The second part categorizes the content of column "road signs" base on different standards, analyzing the reporting angle and positioning in detail. The third part is based on the perspective of column practitioners and business operations and list two major case discussions to elaborate the new requirement on journalists' editorial functions in the era of mobile internet. The subject of the fourth part is the self-examination. As an activity that runs through the news generation process,self-examination is an inevitable topic to study the network in-depth coverage. The fifth part focuses on the plight of the "road signs" section, and makes suggestions on how to optimize the network in-depth report.
