Research On The Application Of Data Mining Method In College Enrollment Decision-making Based On Classification And Clustering

Over the past few decades,with the development of global information,people have gradually realized the value of data generated in social activities.As an important means to find hidden value of the information,data mining technology which has become one of the hot topics of research.In retail industry,service industry and financial industry,many important decisions come from the support of knowledge found through data mining methods.However,as one of the core elements of national development,education industry has made some achievements in the development of information in recent years.However,as for how to use data mining methods to improve the level of college decision-making management,it's worthy of our further exploration.In this paper,the author uses data mining technology,studies the C4.5 algorithm in the classification decision-making tree and K-Means algorithm in the clustering method,combines with the enrollment data saved by some college in Zhejiang province over the years,and completes a series of work such as data processing,forecasting model establishment and result analysis.In the process of analysis,the author explores the use of standard score method in statistics,solves the problem that the performance data of different time and space dimension can not be compared due to the lack of uniform reference frame,and provides more means for data analysis.Through this research,the author takes the college enrollment business as the starting point,tries to introduce data mining technology from the commercial field to the optimization of college decision-making management.This paper studies the ability of dealing with a variety of non-deterministic decision-making problems by data mining method in the process of college enrollment planning.The results show that using data mining means can make us further grasp the future development trend hidden in the education industry and enhance the level of college decision-making management,so as to promote the construction of an innovation-oriented country and strengthen the country through talent development.
