Data Mining Research And Applications In The College Entrance

Data-Mining has been fully verified while it applying in many fields since it come into being, Showing its important economic and social value.With the fast development of Chinese Higher Education,the difference of college freshmen performance is increasing.How to enroll and how to manage students after they come into school is a problem which college is facing.In this paper, the Data-Mining technology and the characteristics of college information was deeply analysised.It proposed the necessity that Data-Mining used in university information. The paper is advanced in the following aspects:First of all,the idea of applying Data-Mining technology to progress universities' management was brought forward, and the feasibility of this idea was analyzed;Secondly,an integrated Data-Mining model was found on the base of analyzing data-mining technology and universities' status generally;Thirdly, Apriori algorithm and C4.5 algorithm ware improved.use the Intersection Theory and Propulsion Technology.Finally, analysis of the college entrance system was implemented ,it return mining rules set and provide a management decision-making support.
