| Regional text messaging refers to the value-added service where customized text message is sent to specific customer groups in a specific region at specific time.A message can be delivered accurately and efficiently to target customers,its recipients can also be traced.If the text messages are only transmitted once,they can still remain in effect for a long time.Due to these reasons,Zhejiang Unicom Corporation regards regional text messaging as a new means of advertisement and hopes to offer this promising service to enterprise users.It is likely to become the company’s new data service innovation and will be of great value to fine-grained marketing of small-and medium-sized enterprises.A regional text message management system is needed to support the data service.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of this system.The development of the system is described,including workflow analysis,requirement analysis,system design,system implementation and system usage.Emphasis is placed on the design and implementation of key modules,including advertisement information distribution and management,role-based privilege management,Website maintenance,service statistics a nd management.The proposed system is developed through J2 EE.The overall structure is established using Spring,Struts2,Hibernate and other MVC frameworks.In particular,the Web,business logic,and data access layers are developed using Struts2,Spring and Hibernate,respectively.The mainstream middleware Weblogic is chosen as the application server at the service end.All services are designed according to the SOA standard.Cross-platform calling of data and service is supported to enable data exchange and resource sharing.Database is created using Oracle 10 g.Memcache is used for high-speed data caching.Ajax is adopted to dynamically load the management page.There are there unique features of the proposed system.First,it is connected to the provincial signal monitoring system of Zhejiang Unicom Corporation.Hence,the data of signal can be collected in real-time across the core network throughout Zhejiang.The updated message regarding the location of the users of Zhejiang Unicom mobile services can be retrieved and parsed.Second,the information distribution strategy can be configured and customized as needed.The information distribution tasks can be managed,and the information distribution process can be monitored effectively.Third,the target customers in the specific region can be effective analysised and recognized,the accuracy of message delivery has greatly improved.The proposed system has been put into operation for a period of time.Fine-grained text messages(greeting,farewell and advertisement)are transmitted to mobile users who enter or leave specific regions.The penetration rate of the value-added service in mobile communication has greatly improved.Moreover,the user base of each value-added service has expanded,and the income of these value-added services has increased. |
