In recent years, the effect of random rough sea surface on radiowave propagation is one of hotspots in many research field such as wireless communication and remote sensing.Existing radiowave propagation models have some limitations in the range of radiation source parameters and not particularity enough under the effect of ocean waves, not suitable for radiowave prediction in the situation of aircrafts' aviating at medium or low altitude. On the basis of existing typical radio waves propagation models, by analysing and researching the effect of rough sea surface on microwave propagation, and using computer simulation technology means, this paper is aimed at modeling microwave propagation field strength prediction and random multi-path channel under the circumstance of random rough sea surface.Firstly, summarized research history and situation of microwave propagation and rough sea surface electromagnetic wave scattering, summarily introduced fundamental principle of random ocean wave, and simulated random one-dimensional and two-dimensional sea surface based on Pierson-Moscowitz spectrum.Secondly, analysed and discussed rough sea surface microwave propagation models including typical radiowave propagation model and dual-path model, and related simulating and computing, used ITU recommendation P.838 and P.676 to compute rain attenuation and gas loss in radiowave propagation, and put forward a field strength approximatly calculating model in situation of aircraft carried radiator.Lastly, analyzed and researched rough sea surface multi-path microwave propagation, including rough sea surface multi-path random channel, theory and modeling of random ray and random channel, and related simulation results. Selected random rough sea surface under typical sea state as example, simulated and computed vertical polarized radiowave propagation problems by means of ray tracing, worked out power density and delay of each random multi-path signal, and corresponding rough sea surface channel model was built.
