Street lamp management is an important part of city construction.City development requires higher and higher level of lamp monitoring and tends to be more and more wireless and intelligent.With the rapidly development of smart phone for the past decade,smartphone applications emerged in a large volume correspondingly and as a mobile terminal it is widely used in monitoring filed and managed to control instead of manual and PC.Lamp terminal +smartphone control mode bring new vigor for the street lamp management.Once the cellphone software of the lamp management is completed it will improve the illumination and service and ensure the lamp availability.This thesis designed a lamp management system based on Android platform.Firstly it designed the total system structure by three-layer distributed architecture which is mainly cellphone,server and surveillance terminal.Then it described the function principle of all the system parts.Cellphone connect with server by 3G/4G?WIFI network,server connected with surveillance terminal by GPRS network communication;surveillance consists of lamp terminal and double wireless terminal which connected by wave mesh.the system is mainly used for lamp remote control,remote check,timing management,error alarming and so on.In order to complete the system construction,this thesis completely the hardware design of the surveillance terminal and cellphone software design.In hardware part,it described the parameter of the main modules and design principle.Cellphone software developed by Java language and user interface design.The modular programming enabled all the software functions and the realization principle of all functions and key technic is elaborated particularly.The last part is the cellphone simulation test and machine test for the whole system.The test result approved that the customer terminal enabled pre-set function and verified the feasibility and reliability of the system.The operator could monitor the lamp and using timing management function.It improved the intellectual level of the lamp management,in addition,the timing management lowered the electricity consumption which will bring enormous economy benefits and contributes to building the intelligent city.
