International Telecommunication Union has officially launched the 5G standard research work,5G enters the key technology breakthrough and stage of the formation of the standard.Thus,it is necessary to carry out the study of the 5G candidate bands as soon as possible.In this paper,we will make analysis and research about the propagation characteristics of millimeter wave in 5G and the link budget.A comprehensive analysis and research will be made on the interference coexistence between IMT(International Mobile Telecommunications)and satellite systems.Then we put forward some valuable calculation and simulation results,it has important reference value for the design and deployment of 5G wireless communication system in the future.Firstly,this paper introduces the present situation of interference coexistence between wireless communication systems at China and abroad.It leads to the further research on mm-wave propagation characteristics and the study of interference coexistence between IMT and satellite systems in 5G.Second,the characteristics of the IMT and the satellite systems in the key candidate frequency bands of 5G are analyzed.Third,based on the study of the characteristics of millimeter wave propagation,this paper studies the interference of 28 GHz band IMT with the fixed satellite service,Specifically speaking,based on the actual orbit and coverage information of the satellite,the total interference of IMT to the fixed service of the satellite is studied by comparing the IMT base station antenna elevation angle from 0 degree to 90 degree.Fourth,based on the existing technical parameters,the interference between the IMT system and the satellite business in the 25.25-27.5GHz band of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region is studied.The conclusion of this paper can provide useful value for the design and practical application of 5G in the future.This paper did a comprehensive understanding and research on the interference coexistence of IMT and satellite systems in 5G key candidate frequency bands.It provides useful value for the future 5G wireless communication system simulation design and the future deployment of 5G base stations in China built-up area.
